Ingenium Tuner

Ingenium operates without external computer and bridges the gap between manual and automatic tuners. Its on-board firmware allows manual motor control as well as impedance synthesis (tuning to a user defined impedance), and DUT reference plane operation (embedding of a test fixture and considering a non 50 Ohm load). The tuned impedance and associated tuner loss are automatically displayed.

A special Macro routine allows constant VSWR sweep over 360 degrees for amplifier robustness (stability) testing.

Menus included in Ingenium's firmware:

•    MOVE X, Y
•    INITIALIZE (= GO TO XPOS=0, YPOS=0)
•    SELECT A TUNER CALIBRATION FILE (from on-board memory)
•    SELECT A SETUP FILE (Test Jig and Load, from on-board memory)
•    CHOOSE DISPLAY
                o    REAL(Z), IMAG(Z) [Ohm]
                o    XPOS, YPOS
                o    AMPLITUDE(Γ), PHASE(Γ)
•    TUNE TO:
                o    REAL(Z), IMAG(Z) [Ohm]
                o    AMPLITUDE(Γ), PHASE(Γ)
•    START MACRO VSWR(value:1)
